His raspy voice perfectly fit his songs, which deal with social issues...such as peace and justice. Skin Bone Blues © 2005 Kokomo Joe's choice of material for his first cd has been an asset to the launch of his career. The tracks were recorded at the Sound Spa Recording Studio in Edison, NJ under producer Steve DeAcutis. The tracks range from love to peace and justice, which is what Kokomo Joe is all about. Kokomo Joe doesn't sing "cute", he is a singer/songwriter who goes for depth and uniqueness when he writes a song. Skin Bone Blues shows the Kokomo Joe style by blending Americana, Blues, and R&B.
